Cora Eva Cowan

Birth Name Cora Eva Cowan
Gender female
Age at Death unknown

Narrative

Her first name of Cora comes from the 1870-71 Report of the Selectmen of the Town of Hampden, Maine. see her events for 1871.

Cora Eva Cowan is almost certainly not the daughter of Benjamin Cowan. She was born while he was away during the Civil War. She is most likely the daughter of her mother Rosanna's second husband, Daniel Carey, in whose household Rosanna was living in 1870. (based on information from a descendant of Benjamin Cowan's second marriage.)
