Liquor Seized in Third Office Building Raid
The third raid within a week in a downtown office building was made yesterday by officers of the City Hall-av Station headed by Sergts Campbell and Magee and special officer Morton who claim to have seized on the top floor of 85 Purchase St $1000 worth of liquors and hundreds of bottles and cans. A man who described himself as Ezra A Page, 19, of 285 Chelsea St, East Boston, was held on a charge of keeping and exposing liquor for sale.
The Headquarters liquor squad raided 408 Massachusetts Ave and allege they found a half pint of liquor and 69 gallons of beer. No arrest was made.
